BYD BATTERY-BOX PREMIUM HVS 5.1

The new generation of the system builds on experience and has all the previous functions.

With the Battery-Box Premium HVS, a battery block with higher capacities than its predecessor is coming to the market. By improving cell technology, the weight of the system has been reduced by almost 30%. The mounting depth has also been reduced by 8 cm. The battery thus requires less space.

One of the best features: the new BYD batteries have an IP55 protection class. This allows for outdoor use.

Even more flexible and scalable. With the new generation, it is currently possible to connect up to three battery towers in parallel to one system. Each battery can also supply a nominal capacity as a charge - ie 1C. This makes the new range ideal for on-grid, on-grid plus backup and off-grid systems.

As the software in the new models remains the same, Premium HVS are still compatible with Kostal, SMA, Fronius, Sungrow and others.

BYD Premium HVS battery packs consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 modules connected in series to obtain a usable capacity from 5.1 kWh to 12 kWh per battery pack. In addition, it is possible to connect 3 battery sets in parallel, reaching a total capacity of 38.4 kWh.
