The LOGITEX hybrid air conditioner (model LX 35, LX 50, LX 70) combines cooling and heating functions, preferably powered by electricity from photovoltaic panels. It is connected with two cables to the LX DC BOX control unit and a cable to the AC mains. You can switch on the air conditioner using an app on your mobile phone. Once you turn on the air conditioner, the water storage tank is automatically disconnected from the panels (provided it is installed in combination with a hybrid air conditioner). When the air conditioner is switched off, the hot water is heated again as a priority. The air conditioning has been tested for a long time. To illustrate, in the months of July and August, daily from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. it cooled the office rooms while consuming only 3.8 kWh of mains electricity! The air conditioner has a max. power input of 1.5 kW, but the cooling power is 3.7 kW and the heating power is 4.5 kW/hour. The LOGITEX air conditioner also works without connection to photovoltaic panels.
