In 2008, we asked ourselves the question: where else can the electricity from photovoltaics be stored besides batteries? In water, of course. In the container of a water heater. That's the route we took and we achieved our goal. We produce water heaters that use electricity from photovoltaic panels for heating. Our patented solution is to regulate the thermal protection elements even though the DC current produced is directly connected to the heating coil. Simple and effective. That's what we set out to do, and that's how our water heaters work.

We started mass production in 2010. In 2012, we developed the new model series "M" and "M+K".

At the beginning of 2013 we launched a new model LX ACDC/M + KW 200 L. It is a special storage tank for gas and electric boilers. It can also be used as an eco-friendly electric boiler for liquid underfloor heating in passive houses. In the second half of 2013 we started to market a 300 L stationary storage tank with the possibility of connecting from 1-6.9 kWp from a photovoltaic source.

In the first half of 2014 we expanded the range to include stationary storage tanks up to 2000 L, with the possibility of connecting up to 200 kW DC from a photovoltaic source. Such large systems are mainly intended for heating plants. In the second half of 2014, we launched a photovoltaic heating system.

At the beginning of 2015, we added new features to the 100 L to 200 L wall-mounted water heaters, such as the potential-free connection and ON/OFF GRID. Since May 2015, we have launched an excellent technical addition to our hybrid systems in Europe. It is an MPPT controller with more original features, the LXDC POWER BOX 1-2.3 kW DC, which significantly increases the heating power from the PV panels, which significantly increases the performance of our systems and can push the limit of the utilisation of electricity production from PV panels almost to 99%, which is one of the most efficient utilisation of environmentally produced electricity in the world.

In 2018, we produced the first LX 35 Hybrid Air Conditioner that connects to our LXDC BOX control unit and preferentially consumes DC power from PV panels to produce heat and cooling. In 2021, we have produced new LXDCCBOX 1-2.3kW DUO, LXDC BOX 1-4.6 MONO and LXDC BOX 1-6.9kW MONO control units, which enable us to connect two of our products, such as two hanging storage tanks, a hanging storage tank and a storage tank for heating, etc. 

In 2023, we launched two new products. It is the LX 6/4" 2.3kW DC coil, which significantly expands the use of DC current and its surplus, especially for storage tanks. The second product is the Sagittarius heating cylinder, which can be used to heat water in a swimming pool or hot tub and is particularly suitable for flow-through circulation heating in apartment buildings and prefabricated houses.

We not only save the environment, but bring a simple, 100% usable and most cost-effective solution to meet the new energy criteria. We want our products to bring people benefit and joy. We want them to feel good about contributing to the environment. And we want to see satisfied smiles on the faces of people who heat their water, heating and cooling with our Czech and Slovak products when they receive their electricity or gas invoice.
